Acne; Hidden Causes and Ways to Get Rid of It

Pimples or medically known as Acne is undoubtedly an unpleasant surprise for any person having them. There are often several factors that result in the growth of acne. However, as bad they might look, they are easily treatable even at the comfort of your homes.

Today we have found a list of various natural remedies to treat the acne that might grow on any part of the body.

Back and shoulders

The normal cause for Back Acne might be the backpack straps or wearing tightly fit synthetic clothing. For those who have acne that is in red pimple form, then it might be caused due to either cleaning agents or other household chemicals. One other main cause of Back Acne is the craving and eating of lots of fatty fried foods.

These back pimples can be treated easily by two following methods.

  • Taking a saltwater bath once in a week
  • Light washing of the acne with Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV). Mix the ACV and Water in 1: 2 proportions.

Chest

 

Two of the most common causes for the chest acne are the allergic reaction caused by either washing powder or the shower gel. Some other products that can irritate the allergic reaction for these acne types are as follows.

  • cold drinks
  • spices
  • seafood

To treat it at home, simply mix some baking soda in bathing water. Massage your skin with this water gently. Afterward, pour lukewarm water to thoroughly clean off the substance.

Neck

One of the main reasons for Neck acne is wearing a tight collar. This tight collar might chafe the skin to result in pimples. It can also be caused by the allergic reaction to shampoo or a conditioner. Another common cause of neck pimples is eating too many sweets.

To treat it at home, wipe the neck area with a cotton pad soaked in lemon juice. Let the juice rest on the neck for 10 minutes and rinse it off with warm water.

Arms

Some of the most common reasons for the acne to appear on arms are as follows.

  • Digestive system disorders
  • Allergic reactions to detergents
  • Antibiotics

Arm acne is more common in those who often visit public swimming pools as they add certain chemicals to clean the pool water.

The arm acne can be treated with help of potatoes.  Simply cut 1 potato in half. Rub one half on each arm and rinse off after one hour.

Legs

Some of the most common causes of acne on legs are as follows.

  • Poor hygiene
  • Tight synthetic clothing

They might also occur if a person shaves their legs with a dull razor.

To treat it, add 6 drops of tea tree oil in a shower gel and wash the legs normally with it.
