  • Get a large and partially squishy lemon and a pair of clean socks
  • Cut the lemon in two halves and remove all of their juice, leave the pulp inside

  • Remove the peels and massage the feet with a career oil like Coconut Oil

Tea tree oil foot bath

Tea Tree Oil has numerous benefits and that is why it has been sued for centuries for medicinal purposes. With its natural antiseptic properties, it helps soothes the skin inflammations as well as heal any type of wounds.

What to do: 

  • Fill up a big basin with warm water
  • Add in it few drops of Tea Tree Oil
  • Soak your feet in this basin until the skin of heels softens

Be advised not to soak more than 15 minutes. Tea Tree Oil is very strong and it might result in damaging the feet if kept for a prolonged period of time.

Oatmeal and jojoba oil mask

Oatmeal can be sued as a natural exfoliator as it helps in the removal of dead skin and also softens it. When it is applied over the skin, it provides relief from following.

  • Redness

As for Jojoba oil, it is a great oil for all skin types and is enriched with the following nutrients.

  • Vitamin E and B-complex

  • Take a bowl, mix in it some oatmeal and plenty of Jojoba oil to make a thick paste

  • Wash the feet with lukewarm water and dry with a soft cloth
  • Repeat this process daily

Pineapple peel compress

If you have a habit of throwing away the peels of your pineapple, then refrain from doing it again. Pineapple is enriched with enzymes that are able to break down the hard skin of feet.   • Take a slice of pineapple peel and apply it over the dry feet
