Effective Ways to Use Aloe Vera

For thousands of years, Aloe Vera has been renowned for its medicinal properties. The 99 percent of this plant is composed of water while the rest is the miracle medicine. For most of us, the benefits of Aloe Vera are limited for it being an effective sunburn remedy.   • Chop one blade of Aloe leaf in half

  • Cut off the spikes of Aloe Vera leaf
  • Cut the leaf lengthwise
  • Extract the clear gel with a knife
  • Apply gel directly over the burn

  • 2 tbsp of Aloe Vera Gel
  • 2 tbsp of organic  brown sugar
  • 1 tsp of lemon juice
  • Mix all of these ingredients well
  • Apply it over the skin
  • Rinse afterward with warm water

A moisturizer for your skin

Aloe Vera is also an excellent natural moisturizer and is especially preferred for those with sensitive skin. It moisturizes the skin pores without blocking them. For preparing an Aloe Vera moisturizer gel at home, follow these steps.

  • Cut the lea lengthwise
  • Extract 2 tbsp of Aloe Vera Gel
  • Mix the gel in 2 to 3 tbsp of coconut oil
  • Massage your face with this natural moisturizer
