If a person is suffering from varicose veins and leg swellings, then they can relive the symptoms by ‘Leg elevation’ in the early stage.

For this method to be effective, a person must raise their legs above the level of their heart and keep the legs in an elevated position for 20 minutes. The treatment should be carried out 3 to 4 times a day.

laser ablation

One of the most renowned treatments for the varicose veins is known as the “Laser Ablation”. The method is normally used, in case other treatments are not working and also when the swelling and discomfort are too much unbearable.

In the treatment, a tube with a laser on its end is passed through a diseased vein. The laser heats up and seals the walls of the vein so blood is not able to flow through it. This blocked vein is then removed using a stripping device.

Normally this procedure leaves a minimal bruise but it is a lot better than the regular surgery.
