Foods that aid in the prevention of Yeast Infections

Some of you might have felt that you have been invaded by something microscopic. Well you are right it is the yeast infection; one of those conditions that make you feel a little more than just helpless.

Fermented Foods such as Sauerkraut and Kimchi

If you suffer from a yeast infection, keep a distance from vegetables such as carrots, beets, sweet potatoes, and potatoes. For yeast infections, it is best to eat dark green leafy vegetables such as the cauliflower, broccoli, and spinach. They are all low in starch and have less sugar in them that inhibits the growth multiplication of the yeast.

Coconut Virgin Oil

The coconut virgin oil is created from the coconut milk extracted from the freshly grated coconuts. The process is carried out by using no heat at all to keep the biologically active healthy compounds of coconut retained.

This oil also is packed with caprylic acid and lauric acid that have strong antibacterial properties. When the oil is consumed in small quantities orally, it kills off yeast.

The best kind of coconut oil is the cold and pressed coconut virgin oil that has all of its benefits.

You can use it as cooking oil or add 1 tbsp of it in your morning tea and coffee cups. Or better yet, you can simply eat 2 tbsp of it in the morning each day.
