Foods One Should Avoid

Sugar sugar

All the processes in our body are maintained by the hormones, that is why we should keep a certain balance for overall good health.

Sugar is not a product that actually helps the body maintain this balance, instead, it causes an imbalance to the hormones. Eating sugar in excess can cause an inflammatory reaction in the body all the while increasing the blood sugar level and also encourages the glands to produce more oil which leads to Greasy Hair.

Refined Carbs

Refined Carbs

There are good and bad carbs and as for Refined Carbs, they fall into the category of bad carbs. A common example of refined carbs is Bread. Actually, its white bread made of refined grains instead of the whole grains. These refined grains are actually processed by the manufacturers to make them fluffier and softer.

These refined carbs lead to our bodies overload and lead to glands producing more oils that lead to us having Oily Scalp and overall greasy hair.

Fried foods

Any of the fired foods causes the body to overload the human body with oil and over stimulates the glands to produce more oil. This excess production of oil causes it to cover our skin and scalp to form an extra layer of grease.

Milk products

Milk

To many of you, it might come as a surprise but milk products can also cause extra Sebum. This is because all the dairy items are digested by our body as fats and oils. These products also contain an excess amount of hormone called “Testosterone” that results in excessive production of Sebum.

Salt

Having excess amounts of salts in our food can lead to problems like swelling, eye bags, dandruff, and dehydration. These conditions prompt the body to produce more oil for fighting the lack of water in the body which ultimately leads to us having sticky and greasy hair.
