Natural Remedies to Remove Tartar Stains From Your Teeth

Tartare might be a great dish, but teeth tartar is something that we all dread. It is even worse from plaque ad normally occurs when a person forgets to brush, floss and rinse. If a person does not remove tartar from their teeth, it becomes hard and can be a leading cue for many gum diseases. It is also very unpleasant when a person suffering from tartar opens their mouth.

Orange peel

All the Citrus fruits are very beneficial in removing plaque stains because they contain citrus.

Take a few peels of oranges and rub them over your teeth for 2 to 3 minutes. You can also make a paste of these peels and apply it over teeth. Choose whichever method you like but rinse the mouth afterward with lukewarm water. Repeat this process a few times a week.

You can also interchange orange peels with lemon juice as it also contains citrus and offers more beneficial results. The acid in lemon not only removes plaque but also whitens one’s teeth.

Simply dip your toothbrush into the lemon juice and rub it gently over the teeth. Eave the liquid on teeth for few minutes and rinse it off with normal water. Lemon juice is a strong agent that can cause tooth erosion. So use it carefully.

Sesame seeds

Sesame Seeds are not only great for seasoning the salad but are also great for removing tartar. They are the natural scrub for teeth and can also polish and clean the teeth at the same time.

Chew on a spoonful of sesame seed well. Try to chew them into a fine paste form and avoid swallowing it. Afterward brush your teeth with this paste gently and rinse off with lukewarm water. Brush your teeth like this for several times a week.

Normally in every kitchen, there is a bottle of Coconut Oil. To clean teeth, there is nowadays a great popular process called Oil Pulling. Oil is able to absorb dirt in the mouth and also has an antibacterial effect against the bacteria that reside in a person’s mouth.

Put two tbsp of coconut oil in the mouth and move it around in the mouth for 10 minutes. Sit it out and rinse the mouth with warm water.

Aloe Vera and glycerin

To make a natural teeth concoction form these two ingredients, mix 1 tbsp of aloe Vera gel in 4 tbsp of glycerine. To add some taste, add 10 drops of lemon juice as well along with 4 tbsp of baking soda in one cup of water. Mix them all well to make a paste.

Brush teeth with this paste daily until the tartar disappears completely. Aloe Vera is helpful in maintaining teeth health while glycerin fights bacteria.

Sanguinaria (bloodroot)

This is one of the most unusual methods as it contains Sanguinaria or also known as the Bloodroot. You can use its extract as toothpaste. Not only is it safe to sue but also contains in it an antibacterial agent that is effective to remove tartar.

You can also make a mouthwash by adding 4 drops of Sanguinaria extract in a cup of warm water. Gargle with this mouth wash once or twice a day.
