Citrus soak for getting rid of the feet odor

To make this foot bath, add 1 lemon, 1 lime and 1 orange in a bucket of warm water. For added effects, add in few drops of peppermint oil, tea tree oil and 3 tsp of the baking soda. Let your feet soak in this foot bath for at least half an hour.

This is the footbath that after you use it will give you the feel as if you have just visited the spa. The aromatic smell of eucalyptus oil will provide your mind the relaxation that you so much crave for.

To prepare this bath, add the Epsom salt in a bucket or a tub filled with warm water.  In this water add at least 12 drops of Eucalyptus oil. After mixing the bath, place your feet inside it for 20 minutes.

Herbal soak to help after a long busy day

This home remedy is presented for those who had to work all day long and their work also involves either a lot of sitting or a lot of walking. In addition to providing relief to the muscles, it also adds a detoxification effect for the skin to make it healthy. Lastly, the fragrant herbs used in this bath add for the calming of the mood and make a person relax.

To make this bath, fill a tub with warm water and 2 tbsp of the Sea Salt in it. Following this, add in 1 tbsp of the baking soda and 1 tsp of virgin olive oil. Lastly, for the herbs, you can choose to add parsley, mint or rosemary. As a tip, tie up the herbs you use in clean cloth so the bath will remain clean.

Lavender bath for soothing sore muscles

Lavender is renowned for its effects as a natural pain killer. The bath made from lavender allows for the sore joints to have relief along with muscles. As for the nice aroma of the lavender, it helps calm the mind.

To make the lavender bath, add half a cup of the Epsom salt in a tub of warm water. In this water, add in 2 tbsp of baking soda and on top of it 6 drops of Lavender oil. Mix them well and then soak both feet for at least 15 minutes.

Lemon juice soak to treat yellow toenails

Not only the use of the refreshing lemon juice bath allows for the removal of yellow stains on toenails, but rubbing the lemon juice directly over these yellow stains also have the same effect.

For making this bath, simply add in few tbsp of the lemon juice in a container filled with warm water and then soaking your feet in it.

Epsom salt bath for reducing inflammation

For cases of the inflammation and the pain accompanied by the inflammation, Epsom salt can be highly beneficial. The soak made from the Epsom salt also makes a person feel relaxed and improve their concentration.

To prepare this take a container filled with warm water and add 2 tbsp of the Epsom salt in this water. Mix the slat well, until it dissolves and then soak both feet in this mixture for only 15 minutes as salt tend to dry the skin. Also, afterward, clean your feet with a piece of cloth and moisturize them.

Baking soda soak to help get rid of dry skin

For those who want to remove the dead skin from their feet, they should try the baking soda bath. We would also like to point out that this remedy does not work for everyone and baking soda tends to make the skin itchy and dry. Those who have sensitive skin, they should refrain from using this bath.

To prepare the baking soda bath, add 3 tbsp of the baking soda in a tub filled with hot water. After mixing the baking soda, soak both feet in the water for 20 minutes. Also, after you are done with the bath, don’t forget to moisturize both feet.

Vinegar soak for multiple purposes

Apple cider vinegar bath provides following benefits to the human body.

  • Soothes dry skin
  • Healing cracked feet
  • Treating calluses
  • Reducing foot odor

Vinegar also has strong antifungal properties which makes it a great remedy to use for the fungus of toenails.

To prepare this bath only make use of the cold water to not let the skin get dry. Mix 1 part of ACV in 2 parts cold water, then soak both feet in this mixture for only 10 minutes. To ask the strong smell of AVC, add in few drops of the aromatic essential oil.
